Bergamotto
A citrus fruit native to the Mediterranean, Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) has a distinctive sweet and sour taste. Bergamot oil gives Earl Grey and Lady Grey teas their distinctive fruit notes, and is sometimes used in cosmetics and perfumes. Calabria is the epicenter of Bergamot production worldwide.
